Based on geological mapping,trenching,drilling,underground geological logging and researching existed geological data,analyze mineralization controlling factors from the view of geologic structure and stratum lithology. Undertook the system studies of next step ore prospecting direction and regional prospecting potential of Dongweitang gold mine in Heilongjiang Province.Dongweitang gold mine in Heilongjiang province is located in north-central part of the uplift belt edge of Zhangguangcailing and west edge of Ning’an basin. The South is the Dun-mi faulted zone. Regional layer is simple;Magma activity is strong; Structure is excessive. Especially by the effect of NE to the huge Dun-mi faulted zone, NE, NW fault and Nearly EW ductile shear mylonite zone constitute the most basic and the most important tectonic pattern. A dominant role of the ore formation is ductile shear deformation in the study area. The enrichment of gold and distribution of gold body are closely related to fracture structure.The study area of gold (change) are distributed in chlorite schist and chlorite quartz schist of the Mesoproterozoic luweihe rock formation(Pt2w).Metall-ic mineralization consists mainly of disseminated or lump with fine grained pyritization, followed by silicification, sericitization, chloritization. With the alteration more strong, gold grade is higher.Based on the systematic study of the geological characteristics of the deposit and metallogenic conditions,pointed out ductile shear zone is the favorable area for prospecting, combined with other criteria for ore prospecting,consider that Lujiadian, Bohaiqingniandian, Yingchengzi, Tuoyao zi,Yangcao ou, Laohudong have good prospecting potential.On the basis of the analysis of gold ore occurrence area, geological structure, lithology, rock alteration characteristics,the genetic types of gold deposits consists of hydrothermal alteration (mylonite)-type gold deposit controlled by ductile shear zone.
