Continuous operational reference station system is a hot spot of GPS development and application,it has many advantages compared with traditional measurement method and can largely improve the efficiency of surveying and mapping work. But the coordinates obtained by the method of GPS belonged to WGS-84coordinate system, the elevation is high relative to the ellipsoid. The practical engineering need a coordinate transformation system which could convert the coordinate form WGS-84coordinate system to the local coordinate system. In the elevation conversion process, we must know the height anomaly of the GPS points before converting the geodetic height to normal height accurately.In this paper, for the purpose of practical application, It mainly discusses how to use a variety of different fitting methods to set up the GPS elevation fitting model. It also discusses the main technical and the specific solutions by combining the application principle of the CORS system, coordinate transformation system and the geoid model. Comparing the precision of all kinds of the model, it can select the appropriate fitting model comblined with CORS system.After inspection, it indicates that the choose of the elevation fitting model and joint solutions can meet the technical requirements of the tiefa mining area, and play a great role in tiefa mining area.
