Laos chang-shan nan metallogenic belt long fold belt developed on the basis of fault, in the car state-combined with Da Nang and Song Ma suture zone between the plate into the eastern Indo-ore mining under the two units. The stratigraphic age from Cambrian to Triassic relatively complete, the Jurassic strata after the distribution is scarce. Strong regional magmatic activity, complex tectonic evolution, forming conditions are favorable, mineralization is closely related with the granite magma activity, mainly Fe, Cu-Au mineralization characteristics.The ore-forming geological background of Truongson Belt in Laos has been elucidated in this paper. Based on the analysis results of major elements, trace elements, REE elements, Pb isotopes and ages of granites by the method of LA-ICP-MS Zircon U-Pb, we obtained that the samples belong to metaluminous calc-alkaline granite; enrichment of Rb, Th, U, K and Pb; loss of Ba, Ta, P, Ti and high field strength element Nb; rich in light rare earth elements; moderate negative Eu anomaly. The ages of LZK8301and LPLS01are307.9±9.3Ma,317±17Ma which belong to Late Carboniferous. Pb isotopic compositions of the granite porphyry, diorite and granodiorite explained that the source rocks are from the upper crust. In the discrimination diagrams of Hf-Rb-Ta trace elements, the samples’re distributed in the volcanic island arc environment. It’s possible formed the volcanic arc environments of subduction that the South China-South China Sea plots block to the Indo-China block. With the analysis of ore-forming elements, SP01, PB01, LZK1010and LZK8301had more diorite forming elements more types of enrichment, enrichmenthigher strength, with some forming vision.In the Truongson Belt of Laos, Xin He Mining Company of Qinhuangdao found a skarn iron ore deposit. Combined with geochemical analysis of the data, this paper elucidated the geological characteristics of mineral deposits, rock characteristics, spatial relationships, and established the ore-forming models of the skarn iron ore deposit, which lay a foundation for building their ore-finding patterns searching for the same ore deposits in this ore-forming zone.
