Deep-sea platforms are usually moored in the harsh marine environmentby mooring system, subjected to the combined effects of wind, wave and current andother external loads. Therefore, to exactly determine the tension of the mooringsystem and the motion response of the platform under the combined effects of theenvironmental loads and the mooring system force, it will be of great significant toanalyze and determine it’s performance of the platform when in the deep-sea work..The paper takes the Semi-submersible platform as the research subject, thecalculation mainly includes three parts, the static calculation of the mooring cable, the hydrodynamic calculation of the semi-submersible platform and the couplingcalculation of the semi-submersible platform and the mooring system. Here the staticbalance method was adopt to calculate the force of the mooring cable, the Greenfunction method is used to study the movement of the semi-submersible platform. For the movement of the semi-submersible platform affects the the movement of themooring cables, and the movement of the mooring cables will also affects themovement of the semi-submersible platform, so we should also consider the couplingmotion of the semi-submersible platforms and their mooring cables, theperturbation method was used to calculate the dynamic computation part.In the dynamic analysisof the floating platform, the calculation of the greatlylongitudinal movement of the ship in iregular waves is introduced, and the greatlylongitudinal movement of the ship in iregular waves and regular waves is calculatedand analyzed, and the greatly longitudinal movement of a floating production andstorage offloading system (FPSO) in iregular waves is also calculated and analyzed, the result is reliable.Based on the Visual C++6.0platform, using C++programming language, thecalculation of the greatly longitudinal movement of the ship in regular waves, thecalculation of the greatly longitudinal movement of the ship in iregular waves, staticcalculation, potential flow calculation and first-order dynamic calculation are realized. A software platform is developed for calculation, and the visualization ofthe calculation is realized.
