Many topics in mathematical physics、astronomy、engineering and social sci-ence developed into mathematical problems can use the integral equations to solve. The most practical signifcance is to solve the eigenvalue of integral equations whenwe study on it. Discrete ordinate method is one of the most important methodsin modern mathematics. The idea of the method is changing integral operator intomatrix and then solving the eigenvalue of the matrix. It is the approximate solutionof the integral operator eigenvalue. The transport equations are a class of specialintegral equations. It is similar in form to integral equation, but more complex. Thetransport equation controls the distribution of the neutrons in the nuclear reac-tor and the planetary atmosphere, so on. As transport equation is applied in manyways, it is one of the core issues concerned by researchers in recent years. This pa-per will solve the eigenvalue of transport equation with slab geometry or anisotropicscattering in L1space. By using the method of modifed discrete ordinate method,we obtain the approximate numerical solution. At last, an example on eigenvaluenumerical solution of transport equation is solved by Matlab.
