Damintun section is located in the northeast of the Liaohe basin, is the famous "small and fat" Cenozoic continental small section in the eastern part of China. In this paper, according to the three division of the characteristics of oil geochemical parameters, we established the classify evaluation standard of shale oil in Damintun section, and divided the effective shale rock ayer system, on the basis of AlogR method,we established models of TOC, S1, and chloroform bitumen "A", According to the geochemical parameters, we use volumetric method to calculate the resources. Using chloroform bitumen "A" method, the resources of E2S41in the Damintun section is5.1×108t, the resources of E2S42is4.53×108t. Using pyrolysis S1method, the resources of E2S41in the Damintun section is3.6×108t, the resources of E2S42is3.82×108t.According to the movable standard (S1/TOC×100>20) in the Damintun section, we use volumetric method to evaluate the movable oil shale resource in the different layers, and assess the resources. the movable resources favorable zone does not exist in E2S41; high value section of movable resource intensity in E2S42is located nearby Shen223and Shen224, the highest value is500×104t/km2, the movable resource is about2.71×108tons.
