Most of the oil fields in the development process has entered a stage of high water cut,Enhanced oil recovery as well as increased oil and gas production has become the primaryproblem to solve, the study of the distribution of the remaining oil is the key. In this paper,Onthe basis of researching the geological characteristics of the reservoir and reservoirheterogeneity influence on the distribution of the remaining oil, Hu Qinan fault block inZhongyuan Oilfield is the research object, From both the macro and micro aspects,thequalitative study of reservoir heterogeneity is the first task;The next thing to do is to createheterogeneous conceptual model with numerical simulation technology and study the factorsof rhythm, permeability contrast, reservoir thickness, mezzanine position and area in thedistribution law of the remaining oil, And make up the potential countermeasures of tappingthe remaining oil.For Huqinan, the research results show that the development effect of the reverse rhythmreservoir is the best; In positive rhythm reservoir development effect becomes worse withincreasing permeability ratio, the residual oil saturation is also increasing; Reservoir thicknesshave some influence on the remaining oil distribution; The remaining oil in upper interlayerreduces because of the block of the injected water, on the contrary the lower part of theinterlayer increase, which have a greater impact on the nearby interlayer; The results canprovide the basis for excavating serious heterogeneity reservoir.
