In order to study the damage effect on phased-array antenna, this paper chooses thepatriot a given multifunction phased array radar antenna as the typical target. In this paper,the properties of target were analyzed and the equivalent simplified model of the target wasestablished. Through the theoretical calculation, experiment and numerical simulation studymethods, damage regularity of the array antenna and response characteristics of radomewere studied.Firstly, deep study was made on the dynamic response of the radome with blast bytheoretical analysis method, on the basis of the study on deformation of clamped squareplate under the static load, the equivalent static loading method was adopted to study theeffect of the maximum displacement of the radome under the explosion shock wave.Secondly, by adopting the method of experimental research on damage situation ofradome and antenna structure under the action of explosion shock wave, damage regularityof radiating elements on the radome and mutilate under different intensity of shock wavewere obtained. The charge amount of two experiments was controlled respectively, thedistance from blasting center was changed only, the overpressure values of differentdistance from blasting center and specific impulse were measured, the loss law of antennaunit,the degeneration law of radome and antenna substrate under different overpressure andspecific impulse were obtained.Finally, on the basis of experiment, using the finite element analysis software ANSYS,according to the characteristics of shock load damage, the equivalent model of the antennastructure were calculated numerically and analyzed under different intensity shock wave.The results of numerical simulation are in good agreement with the experimentalphenomenon.This topic research content of modern war damage, protection of the radar system andaerospace are expected to have important guidance value.
