Benxi formation is an important gas reservoir in the south of Yan Chang Research on the relationship between reservoir charaeteristics and gas enrichment has great significance for the future exploration.Based on the research and study of predeeessors,used sedimentology,reservoir geology, natural gas geology, petroleum entrapment geology and logging geology as the instruction.Collection of 150 wells using geological logging,logging data,core analysis,analyzing thin section,scanning electron microscopy,mercury and other information,to study the sedimentary characteristies,diagenesis,reservoir physieal property,microscopic pore strueture,heterogeneity and other aspects comprehensive of Benxi formation.and classification of reservoir.Futher more,controls of reservoir is analyzed.And investigate the relationship of reservoir characteristics and gas enrichment.The Benxi formation belongs to tidal flat facies, the reservoir is mainly of tidal flat quartz sandstone, Benxi formation gas reservoirs are mainly developed in the barrier sand dam and sand flat sedimentary sand body, obviously controlled by facies belt, has a good consistency with the distribution of facies belt.Mechanical-chemical compaction,cementation play disruptive effects on porosities devepment, dissolution plays a construetive role on it. Reservoir is low-super low porosity and low-low permeability.There are interparticle hole,outer hole and dissolution hole.The relationship of porosity and permeability is positive,which indicates that porosity development control the permeability.Reservoir property and heterogeneity indieate strong difference in vertieal and plane,because of tectonic movement and diagenesis environment. The research above suggest that the factors control reservoir are sedimentary facies,diagenesis and tectonics.The results of the study show that: the physical properties of sandstone reservoir is better, and the higher level of gas saturation; Gas reservoir of Benxi formation belongs to the typical lithologic reservoir,sedimentary facies,diagenesis is the main factor in gas reservoirs enrichment,which determines the quality of the physical properties and reservoir capacity size; Nose structure and other factors have some control over the distribution of oil and gas.
