Yan 10 reservoir of L area in the central and southern of Ordos Basin Shanbei slope is a typical low porosity and low permeability reservoir. In order to better reveal the geological features of the reserch area and forecast the space distribution of the sand bodies, the structure of sand roof and the characteristics of reservoir, this paper carries out the study on 3D geological modeling. In this paper, Yan 10 reservoir of L area is seen as the research object. Based on the research of sedimentary tectonic setting. First, analyze the geological survey of L area. Second, based on the earlier comprehensive utilization of geological data, core data, logging data, stratigraphic division and correlation is studied and precise stratigraphic frame of the research area is built, and then the mini-structure characteristics of the top of small layers and the space distribution of the sand bodies is researched, the evolution features of the sedimentary facies is analyzed, the relationshio of four characteristics and the secondary well-logging interpretation, the reservoir heterogeneity study.Last, research on 3D geological modeling in the studied area. The research shows that in the L area Yan 10 strata can be divided into the Yan101 and Y102.In the study area, the purpose layer structure is simple and has the characteristics of higher east and lower west, some areas presents low amplitude uplift like nose and low-lying. The distribution of sand bodies presents stripped along with the northeastt to southwest, among thses, Y102 is good. The sedimentary facies of the study area is braided river sedimentary and the main sedimentary microfacies are diara microfacies, the river microfacies and flood plain microfacies, the result shows that there are similarity, difference and inheritance among the sedimentary facies of Yan 10 small layers of the research area. The clastic rock types of Yan 10 reservoir are mainly sandstone including quartz and feldspar, and the pore types are primary pore, intergranular dissolved pore, intragranular dissolved pore and so on. The scope of porosity is 9%~16%, the scope of permeability is(1.3~3.67)×10-3μm2, belonging to a typical low porosity and low permeability reservoir. Accorading to the positive correlation of porosity and AC, establishing the model of porosity is Φ=0.1309Δt-18.473, accorading to the positive correlation of porosity and permeability, establishing the model of permeability is K=0.0053e0.4534?. In the study area, the reservoir heterogeneity is high. The differential coefficient, dash coefficient and coefficient of variation of Y101 reservoir is 23.13, 5.64, 0.82.The coefficient of Y102 is 23.06, 6.96, 0.9. At last under the direction of the theories as sedimentology, lithostratigraphy and geological statistics, and so on, three-dimensional geological modeling of the L area is studied by Petrel2009, and the structure modeling, facies modeling, porosity modeling, permeability modeling and oil saturation modeling of Yan 10 reservoir of L area is built by sequential indicator and gaussian simulation method, and the three-dimensional geological modeling characteristics of the structure, sedimentary and property of the reservoir is precisely described, and the simulation results consistent with geologic cognitions. These research results provide significant basis for the development of the next production plan of this area. Besides, the relevant research methods are applicable to the similar geological research.
