In this article, using core, logging, scanning electron microscopy(SEM) information and the constant velocity mercury penetration data and the nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR) data to do research, on the basis of the characteristics of sedimentary facies and reservoir physical property in the study area, from the causes, identification and distribution situation of single sand body. Finally, established the three-dimensional geological model, and analyzed the microscopic pore throat characteristics of reservoir.On the basis of theoretical analysis and experimental research, the target area belongs to delta-front sedimentary sub-facies, and further divided into underwater distributary channel, tributary bay, mouth bar, underwater natural levee, frontal sheet sand micro-facies, and underwater distributary channel is the most development, so it is the focus of the study. Rock types are mainly lithic arkose and arkose, pore types are mainly inter-granular pores, feldspar dissolved pore and inter-granular dissolved pore, throat types is given priority to sheet and tube bundle throat. In this paper, proposing 5 hierarchies configuration unit division method aiming at the underwater distributary channel in the study area. And establishing the 3D geological model(including the structure model, the skeleton sand body model, porosity, permeability and oil saturation model), so as to realize the internal fine characterization of reservoir.Using the constant velocity mercury penetration and the nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR) testing methods to test the Chang6-3 reservoir in Huaqing region, and further study the microscopic pore structure characteristics and change of different petro-physical reservoir. The result showed: the difference of hole radius distribution of different permeability core is not big, and the effective pore radius distribution is concentrated. Throat is the key factor to determine reservoir property, The reason of low permeability in the study area is that throat radius are too small in pore structure, much pores are controlled by small throat.
