Along with the development of the oil and gas exploration, requirements of reservoir description accuracy is higher and higher. Well-Seismic Combination has been used in many oilfields as an important reservoir prediction method. It has become an indispensable technology of channel sand prediction. Because of the low vertical resolution of seismic data, the Well-Seismic Combination is not mature. Now the problem is how to improve the accuracy of reservoir prediction. Gaotaizi oil 2, 3 block Putaohua reservoir mainly develop delta front subaqueous distributary channel sand body, which have thin sand, narrow channel and the control degree of well pattern on the river is low. So the prediction of sand between Wells mainly depend on seismic data. Meanwhile, the study area has good interlayer condition, low ratio of sand thickness and layer thickness, the reservoir is “mud pack sand”structure. It is fit for reservoir prediction.This paper first established high-resolution sequence framework, analysis the development characteristics of reservoir sedimentary microfacies and study the reservoir basic geological conditions such as channel width, sand thickness, vertical layer structure etc. Based on this, the forward modeling of the study area is established. This paper introduces forward modeling, seismic attribute and seismic inversion in detail. Analysis the relationship between reservoir and seismic reflection characteristics with the forward model. Have further research on the influence of reservoir condition such as interlayer thickness, sandstone thickness,adjacent layer vertical interference,and get the most suitable Well-Seismic Combination reservoir prediction. This paper also verified the predict effect of 90 degree phase rotation, introduced several attributes optimization technology and attribute fusion technology. The inversion part discussed the sparse pulse combined with geostatistics invertion technology through basic data processing, key parameter selection and quality control of inversion result.Based on the above research, summarized Well-Seismic Combination reservoir prediction method:logging as the constraint, reservoir evaluation and classification, use forward modeling, inversion and seismic attributes to describe good reservoir, verify with leave behind wells.
