As a product of fault depression of Shahezi formation in Zhaozhou Depression in Songliao Basin, the study is not detailed enough from the point of the view of hydrocarbon source rock of the former, with the exploration of the depth and discovery of new phenomena, although the formation and evolution of tectonic geology stratum rift has been recognized again, but the study of Shahezi Formation has not achieved the new developments and understanding, it also restricts theaccurate implementation of deep natural gas exploration breakthrough and the amount of resources, so it is urgent to study the quality of hydrocarbon source rock, from the perspective of groupriver source rocks of Shahezi Formation hydrocarbon potential and so on, looking for a new exploration field and provide evidence for the law review basin oil gas and resources enrichment.The use of drilling, logging and seismic data, carried out on the source rocks in Zhaozhou Depression of K1 sh of development and research of distribution characteristics and that the whole Shahezi Formation of Zhaozhou Depression for a two grade sequence, from the bottom, can be divided into SQ1, SQ2, SQ3 and SQ4 were four three level sequence, and combined with thehistory, thermal history and chemical kinetics method for the evaluation of natural gas in Shahezi of hydrocarbon potential and resource potential.The results show that, Shahezi Formation of mudstone widely in Zhaozhou Depression, the average thickness of 140 meters, the northern part of the basin center is thick, the south by the Zhaoshen well 14 and Zhaoshen 15 well as the center of the thickness of mudstone is the largest. The TOC of the Shahezi Formation in Zhaozhou Depression is higher as a whole, more than half reached good level, especially in the SQ2 segment and SQ3 segment is more prominent; the type of organic matter is dominated by III, with a small amount of II1, to a large number of angry; maturity of the average value of 2.41%, more than 70% entered the mature stage,mostly in high mature and over mature stage. The SQ2 segment and SQ3 segment angryamount is maximum, reached 12170.6×108m3 and 12497.5×108m3,SQ1 segment and SQ4 segment were 2715.1×108m3 and 960×108m3. A comprehensive selection of differentaccumulation coefficient, calculate the Depression of the Zhaozhou natural gas resource potential in Shahezi Formation was 283.43×108m3-1417.15×108m3.Overall, the total gas amount of Shahezi Formation in Zhaozhou Depression is 4.68×1012m3, with higher resource potential, Shahezi Formation of the Zhaozhou Depression sub group to continue to explore the development and lay a good foundation..
