Oil and gas resources is the material basis for the oil industry relies for survival and development. As one of the important oil and gas basin, songliao basin in the oil industry in China occupies an important position in the process of historical development. Songliao basin is surrounded by large, xiao xing, changbai mountain in northeast China, a large sedimentary basin. Across three provinces in heilongjiang, jilin, liaoning, covers an area of about 26 square kilometers, Half of the 20 th century, the United States, Japan, the geological workers have oil survey and exploration have been carried out in this area, but found no oil. After nearly 50 years of large-scale oil exploration, successively in many sets of oil-bearing series in northern songliao basin, oil and gas, especially in putaohua oil layer, proven oil geological reserves of 2.4 billion tons, at present is still the important exploration objects.Putaohua reservoir is given priority to with delta front facies, belonging to the central petroleum system. To analyze the data of exploration and development in recent years shows that putaohua reservoir oil can be proved in 35-40 billion tons of resources, the remaining resources for 11-1.6 billion tons. Putaohua reservoir remaining oil proven reserves growth trend, still putaohua reservoir is still a main mining strata of each oil field.Taidong area putaohua reservoir belongs to the medium and low permeability lithologic reservoir, and studies the petrophysical facies and its distribution on the evaluation of the reservoir rock performance, reservoir comprehensive evaluation and development plan deployment has important significance.
