With the deepening of oil field exploration and development, the reservoir of the productive block has been gradually transitioned from the relatively good geological conditions, relatively simple reservoir oil-water distribution relationship to the poor geological conditions, relatively complex reservoir oil-water distribution relationship. Under various factors like tectonic, sedimentary, diagenesis, Putaohua layer of Gu Longnan district exists relatively huge changes in oil layer’s resistivity among different blocks, including the low-resistivity oil layer which is quite close to the resisvity of the or even lower than it. The relationship between oil and water is complex, In order to clarify oil water distribution, fine evaluation the reservoir, and provide technical support for reserves submission as well as making development plan, we carried out the study for fluid identity of Putaohua layer of Gu Longnan district.This thesis is based on files such as a large number of logging data, test oil production test, core description, rock electric experiment of the study area, to further study the relationships of the lithology, physical property, reservoir saturation, electrical characteristics,established a logging interpretation model of reservoir parameters, the explanation standard of effective thickness, oil and water layer identification chart, which satisfied all assess blocks,applying the method of subdivision of layer plate, analysis method of intersection curve correspondence as to synthetical identify the oil layer and water layer.We summarized the Putaohua layer of Gu Longnan district in complex reservoir forming mechanism, determined the major controlling factors to reservoir fluid identification,reasonably selected the parameters, established shale content, permeability and effective porosity interpretation model, the original oil saturation interpretation model of the Putaohua oil layer, established the oil-water layer and oil layer explanation and identification chart to explain of the Putaohua in three blocks, the accuracy of explanation and identification chart was above 85%, based on this, 23 wells in the study area have been interpreted the oil-water layer and divided effective thickness, and the established the logging parameter interpretation model.
