The Alatao mountain is located near the boundary of the northwestern Xinjiang province and azakhstan. The geological setting is similar with the geological setting of mineralization in this region and contain masses of metallic and metalloid ore resource. Previously research is restricted because of the remote location. In this paper, the author tends to attain further cognition by combining the previously data and the phenomenon of fieldwork.The Mierqike Fault play an important role in this region and divide the region into two distincted parts: the eastern part and the western part. The western part lacks of volcanic rocks and represented by extensive outcrop of S-type granite. The volcanic rocks are abundant in the eastern part, in where the rocks are dominant by I-type and A-type granite. The ore deposit of the western part are mainly W and Sn ore deposit while the eastern part are Fe、Cu、Pb、Zn、Au ore deposit.By learning from geochronology, we can attain the information that the Alatao area has undergone a series of magmatic activity: volcanic rocks eruption-acidic magma intrusion-vein rocks intrusion. The age of the intrusions in this area focus on 283-302 Ma,belongs to late Carboniferous and early Permian.Though the carefully study of the Aerxiati skarn type ore deposit, determined that the causing intrusions in the area are the diorite small rock mass and dikes, rather than the previous studied Tuimuerte batholith. Dikes had undergone the extensive fluid effects, which are the ore fluid channel.Tuimuerte batholith acted as the shielding layer in the ore-forming process, blocking the escape of the fluid, prompting the useful metal fluid separating out and enrichment.The emplacement of batholith mainly caused the thermal contact metamorphism of surrounding rock, forming the marble and hornfels lithification.According to the study of typical deposits, put forward that the identification of causing intrusion should satisfy the five kinds of connections, the space, the time, the thermodynamics, the kinematics and the dynamics connections, only when five links are met, there exists the direct genetic relationships between geological phenomenons. In the actual study, any kind of connections burst means the lack of direct genetic relation between two phenomenons, but still can recover the correlations between them. Based on this, the geological, petrological, mineralogical and geochemical characteristics all can be regarded as the specific reflection of five kinds of connections to identify the causing intrusions.
