This paper is based on the theories of petroleum geology, sedimentary geology an d reservoir geology,as well as the instruction, experimental testing technology. The d ata of drilling, logging and production are used synthetically. We make the study o f sedimentary faces and distribution of sand bodies for the first step. Then the pe-t rologic features, physical properties, pore structure characteristics, diagenesis and mac-r oscopic heterogeneity are studied and analyzed. The understanding and results achieve d are in the following.According to the core observation, sedimentary tectonics and logging faces analysis, it shows that the main sedimentary micro faces developing in Yan 10 period are stre am detention, side bar, natural levee, crevasse splay, flood plain, which belong to mea ndering river sedimentary.Through core description and rock slice identification, it shows that the main rock types of Yan10 reservoir are grey, grey white coarse grained feldspar detritus sand st ones. Both compositional and textural maturities of the sandstones are low.On the basis of regular physical data, the results of the analysis show that Yan10 reservoir is low porosity and low permeability. The average porosity is 9.63% and th e average permeability is 8.94×10-3μm2 in Yan101. The average porosity is 9.97%and t he average permeability is 7.02×10-3μm2 in Yan102. The average porosity is 9.43% an d the average permeability is 6.08×10-3μm2 in Yan103.Pore types of Yan10 reservoir in this area is mainly intergaranular pore, which is accounted for 3.7%. The second are intragranular pore, moldic pore, feldspar dissolve d pore, the three are counted for 4.5% of the total pore types. Pore types are counte d for the total face rate with an average of 7.5%.Sand bodies from Yan101 to Yan103 reservoir in this research have obvious differ ence. Yan102 is the biggest, indicating the development of sand body, followed by Yan103, Yan101 is the last of all. The interlayer heterogeneity between the three small interlayers are relatively weak.
