In terms of Yaerxia oilfield silurian system metamorphic rock, the oil reservoir geological conditions are complex with many faults, and the change of reservoir lithology is large. For many years, the potential tapping is mainly around the higher position and sub-higher position of the buried hill area and the overall evaluation of the oil reservoir feature and development potential is lacked. Therefore, the development of research on oil reservoir feature and remaining oil distribution law has important reference value to the well location optimization of the favorable target and the development program design.(1) According to the thin layer division and the result of contrast, the thickness change of the mixed section in the research area is not large, the purple section in southwest and northwest part becomes thinner, partial well center disappears and the purple section in southeast part becomes thicker. The stratum shows the high northeast high and low southwest feature. The direction of Yaerxia silurian system fault is mainly east-north and west-north, followed by the near north-south and west-east direction. These four groups of faults divide Yaerxia silurian system buried hill into dozens of blocks of various sizes.(2) Based on the logging curve type, the effective fracture identification method of different logging series is established. The layer with the resistivity less than 60 ? is the dry reservoir, and the layer with the resistivity between 60 ? m and 90 ? m is the poor reservoir, and the layer with the resistivity greater than 90 ?.m is the oil reservoir. Fracture direction is mainly the east-north and west-north, and the fracture type is mainly the oblique crossing joint. The fracture in the east-north direction is the oil gas’ s main leading channel and the fracture in the west-north direction offers more paths for the oil gas to diffuse. The logging value of the resistivity and the interval transit time of various lithology is largely different. The fracture development degree of phyllite and dolomite is higher than metamorphic sandstone.(3) Fracture is the main reservoir space in the research area and in addition, micropores are developed to some degree. The distribution of porosity is in the potato-shape with large plane distribution differences. The well yield near the east-north fault is obviously higher than the north-oriented fault, and the search for the oil reservoir shall focus on the east-north-oriented fault. Fractures at all levels formed by the abstriction are the key factors controlling the effective oil gas reservoir stratum, and the well sections with better oil gas shown are also related to the development degree of fractures. The fracture development degree of the metamorphic sandstone and phyllite in the study area is higher than the dolomite. On the basis of the porosity, oil saturation, the fracture opening, effective thickness and permeability, and considering fully the weight of each factor, the static evaluation is conducted on the reservoir stratum, and the result is consistent with the production performance.(4) The three-dimensional geological model in the study area is established on the basis of well logging and well logging interpretation result. The matching of the reserves at each small layer is conducted again in the study area according to the attribute model, and the reserves of three small layer geological modeling institutes are 10.697 million tons in total. Before the development, the abundance value in the structural culmination in the study area is higher, and after 52 years’ production, the cumulative yield in the area with high abundance value is high and the abundance decreased significantly. The main feature of the remaining oil shows that the saturation of the remaining oil near the production well is low, and the plane remaining oil distribution is significantly controlled by the production well, and the saturation of the remaining oil in the place where wells are dense is lower. 3 well locations are optimized according to the remaining oil distribution diagram and abundance field.
