The Tibetan Qulong copper deposit is located in the Gangdise-Nyainqentanglha flat bar se-condary tectonic units, the eastern section of the Gangdise epicontinental volcano-magma arc, belonging to the eastern Gangdise Cu, Mo, Pb, Zn, Fe, Au metallogenic belt of the Tethys- Himalayan metallogenic domain which is one of the world’s leading large porphyry copper metallogenic domains.Main geological elements within the mining area include medium Jura Yeba formation(J2y), of which the main lithologies are volcanic clastic sediment, Andreessen chip quality tuff, melt crystallization tuff, dacite and clastic rocks, etc..The topography of the mining area is plateau mountain, and quaternary(Q) sediments mainly deposit and cover on the river valley also both sides.Confined to the mining area’s terrain condition, mainly with a zonal distribution, major sediments are residual slope wash and diluvium and glacial till. Sedimentary rocks within the mining area are mainly tuff formed by volcanic clastic sediments. Rocks outcropped with large area in the mining area are Jurassic Yeba formation volcanic rocks.Intermediate-acid intrusive rocks in the study area are mainly the granite and porphyry mass.Intrusive rocks in the mining area are developed, and there are many times of magma intrusion activities at the same time, leading to wide hydrothermal alteration zone. The existing structure is simple, giving priority to the Qulong anticlinal structure.Predecessors had done much research work in the Qulong mining area, and the exploration degree is also high, but influenced by various factors during the study of ore deposit for a long time, people often overlook the study of geological characteristics or have no in-depth study, aiming at this phenomenon, it has been two years since my tutor has put forward the viewpoint that parse geological factors of ore deposit and the relationship between them with a three-dimensional aspect, and led us continuously perfect and in-depth explore, the specific analysis method of the train of thought will be furthered elaborately in this article, and the extent of the drilling engineering is the prerequisite of the study. At present, geological logging information and basic analytical data of Qulong we hold have already made us to do some relative prase on geological element characteristics and the relationship between different factors within the mining area engineering control in the form of macro stereogram, to infer the shape, occurrence, scale and the relationship of the geological factors, magmatic emplacement direction, and ore fluid migration direction etc..With the relevant analytical work, we conclude the following points:Within the drilling control area, intrusive rocks are overall thicker from centre to south, while thinner in other directions, the form of northern intrusive rocks is irregular, forming different sizes and jagged morphology with tuff contact belt, much as the finger, and southern rock mass’ s continuous degree is very high, quite neat form, the intrusive body in Lin Zhou nappe front south fan with oblique and overturned fold under the tectonic control mainly along the bedding, assault on the joint, schistosity, etc, intrusive rocks within the whole control area are in general north incline with steep angle, deep magma is mainly composed of the north to the south shallow emplacement. To sum up, it is speculated that the channel of magmatic emplacement goes from north to south within the mining area, and maybe there are some different channels, also distribute a large number of intrusive bodies along the drilling controlled area extension to south, and there are likely to be some different period magmatic activities. The form of mineralized bodies in the control area is roughly similar to that of intrusive rocks, it appears the worst and most sparse phenomenon in the north and the west side of borehole, mainly are vein, thin vein morphology, Or finger form, generally north incline, steep angle. Combined with the research of grade, intensity of mineralization coefficient and mineralization condition, plus analysis of cumulative thickness of mineralized bodies and the proportion in the drilling, it overall has a quite well mineralization continuity, intrusive rocks in 22 drillings have reached the whole rock mineralization, the intrusive rocks with no whole rock mineralization mainly appear lower-middle part mineralization, the rest geological bodies also have mineralized phenomenon, but these are not the ore-forming rock mass. With the comprehensive analysis result above, the mineralization in Qulong mining area is mainly controlled by the Qulong anticlinal structure, mineralization is related closely with intrusive rocks, intrusive rocks with whole rock mineralization may be the ore-forming rocks, also provide the channel for mineralization, mineralization may or later than over the same period of diagenesis, the whole rock ore of mineralization of magma emplacement intrusive mass channels may be the main migration channel for ore fluid, metallogenic Yu Chengyan later.Integrated the above understanding, it is inferred that the mining area mineralization mainly controlled, deep magma may from the north to the south shallow emplacement, and there are different channels, and ore fluid is mainly along the magmatic emplacement channel migration, metallogeny and metallogenic material source and ore fluid migration is closely related to the intrusive rocks, i.e., mineralization may always happen under the action of multiphase magmatic hydrothermalism. Combined with analytical results of the engineering control situation and various kinds of geological elements and the relationship between them,it is speculated that,in the south and north mining area, there are advantageous conditions for mineralization, existing great ore prospecting potentiality.
