The study area of this paper is the central uplift belt of Tarim Basin in the Kepingtage Formation of Silurian Formation as the research object, in sedimentology, sequence stratigraphy and reservoir geology and other multi-disciplinary theory as the instruction, on the basis of the regional tectonic background, combining macroscopic analysis with microscopic study, according to the stratigraphic evolution- thoughts of sequence evolution and sedimentary evolution studies, using methods such as core, drilling, logging, seismic, dividing single well sequence stratigraphy, and has carried on the contrast, established the sequence stratigraphic framework. Then study the sequence stratigraphic framework in Kepingtage Formation sedimentary period sedimentary facies types and plane distribution of sedimentary facies and the vertical evolution law, on the basis of the in-depth analysis of the keping tager group sequence framework in the space-time distribution of sand.On the basis of the analysis of the regional tectonic evolution characteristics, established the Kepingtage Formation of stratigraphic classification scheme, and research of comparative study of different area, the Kepingtage Formation in study area is divided into three section and seven lithologic sub section.Make full use of field outcrop data, drilling data and seismic data, began the the study of sequence stratigraphy of Kepingtage Formation Silurian Formation, dividing that into 1 incomplete secondary sequence(SSQ1), complete three tertiary sequences(SQ1- SQ3) and 1 incomplete tertiary sequence(SQ4).On the basis of researching single well sequence characteristics, sequence stratigraphic correlation between Wells, establish the sequence stratigraphic framework.Make full use of previous data, combining with the basin peripheral field profile and drilling core data, log data and test analysis data, on the basis of the research of sedimentary facies marks, according to the rock composition, sedimentary structure, profile characteristics and evolution sequence, Kepingtage Formation in Silurian Formation in studied area sedimentary facies identify the tidal flat facies, continental shelf facies, and delta facies three types of sedimentary facies. On the tidal flat facies are further divided into supralittoral, intertidal and subtidal subfacies, shelf facies are divided into shallow sea shelf facies, delta facies are divided into delta plain subfacies and delta front subfacies, former delta subfacies, then the Kepingtage Formation between the sedimentary phase of the planar distribution of sedimentary facies characteristics are analyzed, and established the tidal flat- shelf facies model.Comprehensive formation, the sequence and sedimentary research, in-depth analysis of Kepingtage Formation spatial and temporal distribution of sand in the horizontal distribution, the result is the sand is thick in the north, thin in the sourth, thick in the east and thin in the west, textural maturity is high in the north, low in the sourth, high in the east and low in the west. The characteristics of the sedimentary evolution process, sand is thin in early and thick in late. Textural maturity low in early, high in late.
