The role of underground gas storage in the natural gas industry in the development of major, therefore, the government, enterprises attach great importance. According to the state’s overall strategic plan, China will form a network of four regional coordination of gas storage group: Northeast gas storage group, North gas storage, gas storage group of the Yangtze River and the Pearl River Delta gas storage group. Northeast gas storage group construction, Liaohe Oilfield obvious geographical advantages, but also have other benefits- with rich natural resources, along with more than depleted gas reservoir construction of underground gas storage. After the existing gas reservoir oil zone preliminary screening, Huanxiling oil Qi 13 is one of them.Underground gas storage is a systematic project, use nearly depleted oil and gas reservoirs for underground gas storage, underground geological features not only need to find out, but we requires in-depth research the regular pattern of oil, gas and water movement in the process of development, find out the current gas oil interface, oil-water interface, and calculate the water influx in the area at different stages of invasion. And then expound and prove gas storage reservoir capacity, reasonable operation pressure, single-well injection and production capacity. And rebuilding underground gas storage reservoir in Liaohe Oilfield were not previously depleted oil and gas reservoirs of precedent, the lack of gas reservoir into underground gas storage standard.In this paper, by comparing the domestic and foreign underground gas storage construction, combined with the present situation of the geological characteristics of Huanxiling oilfield in Qi 13 block gas reservoirs and development, by the alignment of 13 pieces of gas reservoir formation, tectonic, fault and caprock sealing, reservoir physical property, single well gas injection and production capability and storage capacity etc. comprehensive analysis of the feasibility of gas reservoir, database.Through research, that the block has a good construction conditions. At the same time, find out the oil and gas reservoir into underground gas storage standards and methods of research.
