Since January 1988, during the process of drilling Wa16 wells, we tested high-yield industrial oil flow from the oil field to discover the Dawa, after decades of continuous mining of different development methods, combined with fault develop, the extent of the use of the blocks very uneven, severe flooding of layers digit, accurate identification of oil-water layer becomes a problem faced by wells. Firstly, we studied the geological characteristics, physical characteristics, water distribution characteristics and fluid properties, and analyzed the influence of geological factors of reservoir logging response of Dawa-oilfield, including the influence of lithology, cementation, mineral composition and diagenesis. Application of logging data, oil test data and core analysis data, and preprocess the log data. Using statistical method to research the reservoir four property relations of Dawa-oilfield. The mineral composition of the reservoir is mainly feldspar sandstone, a little litter feldspar sandstone and some litter sandstone. The oil layer is mainly composed of fine sandstone. Petroliferous nature mainly concludes oiliness, oil immersion. According to the research on lithology, physical property, petroliferous nature and electric property, if the lithology of reservoirs is stable and simple, the physical property will be fine and petroliferous level will upgraded, and even the electric property will show a good expression. Select key wells, build reservoir parameter model, including the model of shale content, porosity log interpretation model, permeability and saturation model interpretation model. Preferably Dawa-oilfield logs, build water layer qualitative identification plate. For Dawa-oilfield characteristics, using a identification plate. For Dawa-oilfield characteristics, using a three-Resistivity overlay method(formation of resistivity, water resistivity and reservoir critical resistivity) and water saturation to identify oil and water layer method, to do semi-qualitative and quantitative to do qualitative and semi-quantitative water layer identification. Taking three resistivity as the main water saturation method as auxiliary principal. According to the testing data, the combinations of the two methods have achieved good results in Dawa oilfield to identify oil and water layers.
