Ocean Buoy is one of the primary methods for long-term marine monitoring. It has characteristics such as all-day,long-term continuous, fixed monitoring and so on, so it is irreplaceable. With the development of the Ocean Buoy System, buoy shore station monitoring and management system has been being a hot research topic.With the rapid development of embedded technology, wireless communication technology and network information technology, it has been used more and more widely about data acquisition monitoring communication terminal based on embedded system platform. Web technology is also used frequently in the field of control, rely on which the client can easy access the server and get relevant information by connecting Ethernet, bring convenience to the maintenance and management work.This paper develops a new type of distributed embedded system buoy data servie syst-em following ocean buoy project requirement.The system incl-udes data collection syst-em in base station and data storage system in shore station. First of all,this paper is consisted of the ocean buoy system, monitoring and manage-ment system and embedded technology, communication technology and Web technology.Then we distribute buoy data service system for embedded system requirement anal-ysis, put forward a system overall design scheme.Then, data acquisition system in base station and data storage subsystem in shore station are expounded in each chapter.In the data storage system, we use ARM carrying Linux operating system to realize the main function. At the same time, the embedded SQLite database and Web service Boa ensure the buoy data storage and release. The software design of system is also described in detail.Finally, a summary of the research work is made. We find some existing problems, and put forward some suggestions to further perfect.
