Stochastic service system theory (queuing theory) as a branch of operations research, has been widely used in various types of telecommunications systems, telephone switching systems, computer networks and data communication networks and the like. Meanwhile, at present the study on the characteristics of computer network system has become a hot spot, especially on the research of the competition in the network. The contention-collision cancellation access mode is a very important access control mode in star network. According to the operation mechanism of star network the C-CC mode is divided into class I to VI system models. In recent years, it has made some progress in the analysis on the modeling of the six types of system.Retrial queue is an important part of the stochastic service system theory. At present, the research on the mathematical analysis and performance evaluation of retrial queue model mainly concentrated on the M/M/C and M/G/C. The retrial queuing model is divided into the single server system and the multi-server system according to the number of the server in the system. This paper first gives a brief analysis of the queuing system under a variety of strategies, including the classification of the competition-collision cancellation (C-CC) access mode system and the retrial queuing model; then the paper introduced the idea of retrial queuing into the star network, first simplified the type III system model, resolving some important parameters of the system such as the average number of customers, the average queue length, etc. It also has analyzed a model of the retrial queue on M/G/1. Finally, through the numerical simulation and comparison of the parameters for two models, evaluate the performance of the star network system. Thus, the paper provides a theoretical basis for the design and construction of the star network.
