Wulonggou gold deposit located in the East Kunlun Mountains in the southwest of Qinghai Province, NW to NWW of ductile shear zone and brittle structure developed in this area, which controlled the formation and distribution of magmatic rocks and gold bodies. We chose the structures and gold bodies of Wulonggou area as the mean research object, combined with structural geology, petrology, isotope geochronology and other subjects using Electron Backscatter Diffraction(EBSD) and SHRIMP zircon U-Pb test. In combination with the previous studies of this area to study the the characteristics of tectonic ore-control in the area, we draw conclusions as follows:1. Gold bodies in Wulonggou are controlled by the NW to NWW of ductile shear zone and brittle structure, Ductile shear related conformation of earlier gold deposits, brittle fracture transformed previously formed orebodies. Therefore, NW to NWW of ductile shear zone and brittle structure are the main ore-controlling structure in the area.2. The data of the Electron Backscatter Diffraction(EBSD) shows that the deformation temperature of Ductile shear is 350-450 ℃. The deformation temperature reflect metallogenic environment is low temperature-mid temperature.3. Wulonggou gold bodies formed in different decades, previous gold bodies formed in Late Caledonian and controlled by ductile shear.Ductile shear zones and brittle fracture lead the gold bodies enriched again in Indosinian. Brittle structure reformed the previous gold bodies in Late Indosinian-Yanshannian.
