West yunnan sanjiang area in eastern Europe and Asia, tethys orogenic belts to turn parts of the south east, is one of the most promising resources enrichment region in western China. The ailaoshan tectonic belt in jinsha river- is origin of the newly emerged large gold deposits in resources and important nonferrous metal and precious metal mineralization belt. Mining gold long history in the region, the research work about the gold in the 1950 s and 80 s has carried out a systematic work, after a number of important research results have been achieved. The results of this study focused on the Paleozoic and Mesozoic jinshajiang ailaoshan structural belt, characteristics of geology and mineral resources research of the structural belt and the surrounding Cenozoic geological characteristics and metallogenic role involves very little. Jinsha river- ailaoshan structural belt is one of the important structural belt and the metallogenic belt of western yunnan.
