Bolt positioning and clamping mechanism is one of the important components of deepwater pipe flange automatic connection tool. With the rapid development of underwater pipeline laying technology, the design of motion reliability requirements of bolt positioning clamping mechanism is also more and more high.This dissertation expounded the development situation of the mechanism reliability design at home and abroad. Based on the overview of the basic knowledge of mechanism reliability, this paper focused on the analysis of the calculation method and calculation model of the movement precision reliability about bolt positioning and clamping mechanism.In view of the actual demand of pipeline flange connection tool, which is used to position or clamp and release the group bolts, a bolt positioning and clamping mechanism with variable degree of freedom is designed, and then analzed its working principle. Adopted the oriented pully form to finish the positioning and clampingg of bolts, by using the probability analysis method of the movement precision, a bolt clamping mechanism motion reliability model is established, then the parameters of each component of impacted on the clamping mechanism motion reliability is analyzed. Applying the software of MATLAB, simulation and verification is carried out, and then the reliability of the motion precision about this mechanism is analyzed.With the help of ADAMS software, the parametric modeling is built and simplified, and then the motion simulation is finally carried out.By using ADAMS/Insight module, the structure parameters of positioning and clamping mechanism model is designed by adopting normal distribution. Then numerical simulation method of Monte-Carlo is used to analysis the digital characteristics of the locking plate. At the same time, the reliability is tested. By comparing and analysising the simulation results and the theoretical calculation results, the calculation of the theoretical model verified is accuracy.By using GUI module of MATLAB software, a reliability computing system about bolt positioning and clamping mechanism is designed, which can be made to realize the real-time simulation and display its calculation results about mechanism reliability in time.
