There are rich oil and gas reserves in the complex tectonic zone of Northern Machang. However, due to extremely complex structure, difficult cognition and stratigraphic correlation, it leads to the development of poor results. To improve the use of geological reserves, increase productivity, enhanced oil recovery, it is necessary to re-implement the structure and other basic research.We have not been systematically studied geology because of the low degree of fault-controlled of the area and unclear construction. It is not enough about distribution system and reservoir construction research, especially in the lack of reservoir description precision. It restricts the reservoir evaluation in the area and the capacity building of the new district.This study is processing and making fine structural interpretation of seismic data of the complex tectonic zone of Northern Machang, through the development of multi-scale analysis of seismic data processing software. It strengthens the region’s reservoir overall anatomy and evaluation, to provide a scientific basis for the rolling development of reservoir, combined with the region of the next scroll key wells drilling and evaluation on the basis, to form a new district capacity building positions and improve the overall development level of the area.In the development of multi-scale analysis of seismic data processing software, through the study of the principles of the wavelet transform and multi-scale analysis method, we do a lot of research and testing to select the appropriate base wavelet decomposition level. Then, based on wavelet transform matlab platform and toolkit, we finally developed the multiscale analysis of seismic data processing software. On this basis, we can observe the fine structure of the geological body by the decomposition results of small-scale analysis, at the same time, the overall structure of geological body by decomposition results for the large-scale analysis.In the 3D seismic data fine interpretation, three-dimensional seismic data contains stratigraphy, structure and fracture, and many other information. It is an important basic data in the development of oil and gas exploration.3D seismic interpretation is a very complex and uncertainty task with a huge workload. It depends on the geological task to determine the interpretation program, at the same time, noting the size of the workload and reducing uncertainty. In this study, we established a database of seismic interpretation; we also established relationship between the seismic reflection and the geologic horizon for the fine horizon calibration by VSP velocity data、depth data and synthetic records. We used 3D visualization technology, selecting seismic interpretation signs reflecting layer, multiple seed points level stereo tracking technology, ant tracking fault technology, coherent body detecting technology, and combination of well and seismic evaluation technology, followed the interpretation of some ideas to explain the lay and fault. After the completion of horizon interpretation and fault interpretation, we made the structural mapping, and then got a variety of maps which we needed. According to the research target of this project, we carried out the comprehensive geological analysis. We did a lot of research work from the fine calibrating and fine structural interpretation of the seismic geologic horizon, we used multi-source information to optimize favorable targets, so as to provide seismic and geological basis for oilfield edge expansion potential.This paper through processing and interoperating the seismic data of the horse factory north complex zone, got a large number of accuracy and reliable result maps, and developed the new seismic data processing software in order to improve the quality of seismic data in this area, Strengthening seismic data processing technology of the complex fault block groups. It had great significance for the further mining oil block potential of the complex fault block, achieving oilfield reservoir and promoting oilfield development.
