The detection of the underwater obstruction is one of the important content in mairtimebattlefield environment construction. The magnetic method is one of the best geophysicaltechniques for locating and mapping the distirbution of ferro-metallic objects. The applicationsof the forward and inversion technique of magnetic anomaly have been deeply studied in thedetection of underwater magnetic objects. The detection theory of underwater magnetic objectshave been built and the detection and identification methods have been put forward, which canprovide theoretical and technical support in mairne engineeirng and maritime battlefieldenvironment construction. The main works and creations are as following:1.The progress of the marine magnetic survey domestic and abroad are summarized andanalyzed. The technical status of China is evaluated. The existent problems and solvablethoughts are pointed out.2.Based on the analyzing of ifeld theory, the magnetic anomaly inversion and reversionapproaches and methods have also been expatiated. The magnetic distributions of therepresentative magnetic objects have been simulated and analyzed, furthermore the relation ofthe regular magnetic objccts and its magnetic anomaly have been pointed out.3.The forward methods of magnetic objects have been presented. The qualitative analysismethods of the magnetic anomaly have been given out. Moreover the quantitative determinationmethods of the magnetic anomaly have been listed out,4.丁he detection and identification method of magnetic objects have been studied, thedetecting examples of shipwrccks, seabed pipe and unexplored objects show that the method canbe effectively applied in detecting and identifying the magnetic objects.5.The detection and identiifcation methods can be applied in the detecting of submarine,mine and aircraft wreckage.
