Sichuan Basin in southwest China, also known as Bashu basin, is one of the fourmajor basins in China. The Basin contain large amounts of mineral resources,especially natural gas resources. Guandu structure belt located in the Chishuidepression which in low fold belt of southern Sichuan Basin, the eastern region inChishui. The overall structure was NNW trending, part of the Department of the thehigh and steep structures in eastern Sichuan extending to the southwest directionbroom-likely. The area of the body structure is about90km2. The scale increases fromdeep to shallow. Well Guan9drilled the first time in Jurassic Xiashaximiao test90.6m3/d of light crude yield in2004, which making exploration of the area made a historicbreakthrough, forming a " both land and sea, oil and gas simultaneously" explorationsituation. Therefore, this thesis take Xiashaximiao sandstone reservoir in Guanduarea as research subjects. The thesis mainly based on logging data drilling data andseismic data, combined with the regional geological structure in Guandu district,conducted horizon calibration and structural interpretation on the horizon ofXiashaximiao. Analysis of seismic facies and geological interpretation under the studyarea within Shaximiao in the model of seismic facies beside the well corresponding tothe single-well facies. Through the analysis of reservoir characteristics establishing themodel of the seismic response, extracting seismic attributes, combined with seismicinversion to reservoir prediction. Ultimately, we take a comprehensive evaluation ofthe reservoir and made a favorable exploration area. Research results are as follows:(1) Calibration of the horizon by comparing the synthetic seismogram of eachwell with the seismic trace beside the well and combining zonation data from welldrilling. We mainly explained four sets of layers, they are J2s2, J2s1, J1z andT3x.Analysis of the structural feature and the trap description was base on thepreparation of their structural map.(2)The Analysis of three layers, J2s2-J2s1, J2s1-J1z and J1z-T3x, is based on theseismic facies besiding the well corresponding to the single-well facies. Through theanalysis, we draw regional seismic facies and local seismic facies, and draw the plans,pointed out the direction of the sediment source, the advantages and favorablereservoir development phase region bands.(3)Through the analysis of reservoir characteristics extracting seismicattributes,taking wave impedance inversion, gamma inversion and porosity inversion,we predict the distribution of the two sand bodies within the Xiashaximiao formation.(4) Combining with the seismic phase plane maps, refered to the seismic attribute,finding out the area of low impedance, low gamma and high porosity region, using the the prediction map of the two sand bodies within the Xiashaximiao formation in thestudy area, delineating the favorable area, and then superimposing, combined withstructural map, we predict the distribution of favorable reservoir within theXiashaximiao formation and divide the favorable area. The first group sand bodywithin the Xiashaximiao formation is divided into three favorable area, of which thereare two classⅠ,and one classⅡ. The second group sand body within theXiashaximiao formation is also divided into three favorable area, of which there areone classⅠ,one classⅡand one class Ⅲ.
