Development of multi-component seismic technology began in the eightiesmulti-wave century. It is a comprehensive utilization of various seismic waveslongitudinal waves, shear waves, converted waves and other hydrocarbon basins offine exploration of oil and gas in an effective way to direct prediction. It can make upfor the lack of longitudinal wave exploration, providing a direct way to find new oiland gas.Multi-wave multi-component seismic exploration technology has broadapplication prospects promote lithologic reservoirs, hidden reservoirs ofunconventional reservoirs and other fields. Currently, multi-wave multi-componentseismic data acquisition, processing and interpretation techniques are mature, but alsohas become a hot topic in the field of oil and gas exploration and development.Especially in the field of geophysics, multi-wave multi-component seismictechnology has become the direction for further development disciplines. Multi-wavepropagation mechanism based research vertical and horizontal wave matchingcompression methods help make full use of multi-wave multi-component seismic data,an accurate understanding of multi-wave geological response characteristics, highlighting the ability to multi-component seismic data to solve geological problemsof multi-wave, improve reservoir prediction, cracks detection, identification reliabilityof oil and gas on a large area of dense fractured reservoir exploration anddevelopment has a very important significance. Therefore, excellent shear wave datais crucial to match the underlying data. Combined vertical and horizontal waveinterpretation and joint inversion of the primary task is to solve the matching problemand shear waves. This article revolves around the many ways in longitudinal and transversal waveshorizons matching compressed data processing, First, longitudinal waves,horizon-wave matching theoretical developments are described and analyzed, mainlyon the propagation of longitudinal waves and converted waves, the time aspect wavethe basic matching principle were analyzed. Meanwhile, briefly discusses the impact of the aspect ratio of the S-wave velocity matching, layer contrast horizon calibrationmethod, horizon interpretation, section contrast. Then the P-wave and the convertedwave data, Application of S-wave matching method based onrational interpolationisproposed.the use of layers control, namely stacked section corresponding to theinterpretation layer, using interpolation method to establish the initial velocity than themodel, and the use of inter-layer difference ratio method to obtain shear wave velocityratio; Finally, according to the S-wave S-wave velocity matching time than achieved. In analyzing the interpolation algorithm, firstly, analyzes some commoninterpolation methods, including the nearest neighbor interpolation, between onedollar region interpolation, piecewise linear interpolation and the advantages anddisadvantages of cubic spline interpolation comparative analysis;Secondly, thefocuson thesub-rational interpolation, including a rational interpolation and rational cubicinterpolation, interpolation study and analyze its characteristics, and a suitableinterpolation algorithm is applied to the S-wave matching.By introducing the full text, you can clearly understand the propagation of shearwaves, and the time relationship between each other. The basic principle of verticaland horizontal wave matching have a better understanding, while the characteristics ofthe various interpolation algorithms have a deeper understanding. Rationalinterpolation algorithm for shape retention and monotony, you can keep the overallgeometry of the original data, which provides a matching vertical and horizontal waveof new ideas and methods.
