The Dongdaohaizi depression located in the north-east of the centraldepression in the hinterland of Junggar basin,it’s an asymmetric dual fractured typegraben depression with fracture in the north andoverlap in the south,it’s one of theimportant oil and gas depressions in Junggar basin.In the third national resourceevaluation,it was once evaluated roughly about the Dongdaohaizi depression oil andgas resource,the evulation result was not perfect because of foundational geologicaldata was unsufficient.This research studies on the hydrocarbon source rocks qualityand distribution,especially evolution process of source rock in Dongdaohaizidepression of Junggar basin mainly by collecting fundamental geological data,usinggeochemical methods also combined with present latest geological data andachievements.By using method of coupling geochemical material balance methodwith basin simulation technology,this research evaluates resource potentiality ofPermian Pingdiquan Formation source rocks,including prospect evaluation aboutpetroleum and natural gas resource potentiality。Pingdiquan Formation source rocks are the primary Permian source rocks inDongdaohaizi depression, it distributed widely in the whole Dongdaohaizidepression.In this paper,effective source rock is divded by analyzing organic canbonof the measured mudstone samples and establishing standard of hydrocarbon sourcerocks by using statistical methods. The abundance of organic matter, organic mattertype and maturity characteristics of hydrocarbon source were evaluated throughanalysis of pyrolysis parameters、kerogen microscopic and vitrinite reflectance.Singlewell maturity history has been simulated by using Easy%Ro model and thus deducedthe planar distribution characteristics of source rocks maturity in PingdiquanFormation.Hydrocarbon source rock shows a favorable generation condition and high oiland gas conversion through analyzing the chloroform asphalt”A”and hydrocarbongeneration potentiality.The evolution of hydrocarbon source rock has higher maturityand in mature-peak oil generation stagea on the whole.Pingdiquan Formation hydrocarbon source rocks content has entered the oil windows,a large number ofmature of curde oil and natural gas can be generated.Use genetic method to evaluation oil and gas resources when calculate theamount resources.Hydrocarbon production rate refer the thermal simulation curve ofthe hydrocarbon source rocks in Junggar basin to study the characteristics of sourcerock in this region.To study the characteristics of hydrocarbon expulsion through themethod of hydrocarbon expulsion efficiency and hydrocarbon expulsion rate.Researchof characteristics of petroleum migration and accumulation took example by thenational third resources evaluaton results,on the basis of the assured parameter ofsource,expulsion,collection.Combined with the structural characteristics and tectonicevolution in the study area.through the organic caron method,hydorcaron generationpotential method and basin simulation methods and various methods to determine theresults of Dongdaohaizi depression Pingdiquan Formation of hydrocarbon sourcerockin the key period,such as hydrocarbon generation,expulsion and resourcesamout,the resource abundance,hydrocarbon generation,expulsion and resourcesamount,the resources abundance,hydrocarbon generation intensity and other results.The Dongdaohaizi depression qualify hydrocarbon-bearing depression formedthe basic geological conditions.On the basis of previous studies,slecting resources、the abundance of resource and proven reserves as the evaluation parameters toestablishe the evalution standard of enrichment of oil and gas in Dongdaohaizidepression.Refer to this standard,it’s proved that Dongdaohaizi depression is a typicalhydrocarbon-bearing depression,which reach the basic geological conditions of theformation of oil and gas.
