Jiangsu and Anhui provinces to explore shale gas reservoirs Permian geologicalconditions to alleviate rising energy demand of pressure is important. By acomprehensive study of geological sections and organic geochemistry, Jiangsu andAnhui provinces showed more complete stratigraphic Permian basin-deep watershelf sedimentary environment conducive to shale development. Gufeng deepwatersedimentary under ambient conditions, the Longtan Formation and Dalongdevelopment has three sets of high-quality carbon dark shale, three sets of Jiangsu andAnhui provinces this organic-rich carbonaceous siliceous shale and carbonaceousshale more, and shale thickness, wide distribution, depth below2500m, high organicmatter content, moderate maturity characteristics. Which Gufeng group and Dalongshale kerogen type Ⅱ B and type Ⅰ A mainly Longtan Formation coal-bearingstrata of dark shale kerogen type Ⅲ based, The layers of brittle shale mineral content(≥50%), a small content of clay minerals, rock compressive strength is small,Micro-fractures and other features, Jiangsu and Anhui provinces showed Gufenggroup and Dalong with superior shale gas accumulation conditions, The LongtanFormation of both shale gas and coalbed methane reservoir conditions, Can be listedas one of China’s recent unconventional exploration area of choice for energyplanning.
