Ordos basin is the country’s second largest onshore sedimentary basin is a large cratonicsuperimposed basin, rich in oil and gas resources to the reservoir hidden, complex, lowpermeability, inefficient known. Huangling exploration area is located on the boundarysub-region of Ordos Basin in southern Iraq Shaanxi slope, now constructed as a largewest-dipping monoclinic, slope of0.5degrees Celsius, about10m per kilometer gradient, theinternal structure is simple, locally developed differential compaction formed nose structure,purpose Jurassic interval extension group is an important oil layer of the area. Even after manyyears of research and have achieved some results, but still faces stratigraphy confusion, earlyJurassic sedimentary facies, former JURASSIC form a clear understanding of issues such asexploration and development to bring the late great difficult.In this paper, sequence stratigraphy theory and methods, utilization logging, cores, logs,etc., re-source direction in the area, sedimentary characteristics, sand distribution andhydrocarbon accumulation were studied. Through this research, the establishment of the lowerstrata of Yanchang sequence stratigraphic framework; established in the study area aredeveloped early Jurassic meandering river delta plain facies sedimentary system that is thespatial Bute point; Based on this comprehensive study area characteristics of oil and gas, oiland water features, and other factors accumulation factor analysis, hydrocarbon migrationaccumulation in the area, and pointed out the favorable areas, provide the basis for theexploration and development.
