There is an abundant coal resource in Jurassic strata in Ordos basin, but the distribution and occurrence of sandstone fracture-porosity water on the roof of coal seam have its own characteristics of inhomogeneity affected by diagenesis and later stucture, which forms certain threat to mining process. Studying the hydrogeological conditions, evaluating the dewatering and simulating the seepage field change during mining have some guides for how to prevent and control mine water inrush disaster.On the basis of relevant materials at home and abroad, taking Bojianghaizi mine of Dongsheng coal field for an example, analyzes comprehensive geological and hydrogeological conditions. In this paper, it also maked the systematic analysis of characteristics about the flow and water level at the3-1coal seam roof in113101workface while dewatering and calculated the hydrogeological parameters. Based on the analysis aquifer hydrogeological conditions in the Middle Jurassic, the corresponding hydrogeological conceptual model and pore-fracture three-dimensional unsteady flow mathematical model have been established. After the model recognition and verification, the hydrogeological parameters of the study area are obtained. By the above model, the evolution of the drawdown forming a funnel is simulated during mining of the first work face in the Middle Jurassic sytem, and the amount of dewater which is close to one calculated by“the big well method” is calculated.Furthermore, the dewatering effects have been evaluated through dynamic variety of water level and amount of dewater, and verified by the water of the single hole. Meanwhile, estimate the local effect by the flow rate and release rate. The result showed that the obvious water dewatering effect have reduced the pressure of water damage threat during the mining, which has a very important practical significance.
