Of the national economy in our country, occupying the leading status of oil andgas resources, is an important strategic materials. However, according to the researchresults, in2011China’s crude oil production is less than half of aggregate demand, therest can only rely on imports. Taking into account the development of the nationaleconomy and national security, the development of oil and gas resources has becomea top priority. Because the frequency properties of seismic waves can identify oil andgas reservoirs, the researches and practices of impact factor of attenuation propertiesof variation under different conditions, the effect of extraction methods and analysistechniques of other methods are the important supports of oil and gas reservoirprediction. With oil and gas exploration development and progress, accuracy of explorationhas become a hot topic nowadays, how to effectively identify oil and gas is a problemplaced in front of geophysicists, and over the years many people had been committedto the petroleum geology this study. There on the signal frequency attenuation ofseismic attributes application is becoming the focus of attention. Usually thefrequency of seismic wave attenuation and oil and gas have relatively largercorrelation, but because the underground media is too complex, present mathematicalphysics equations are insufficient to fully simulate the seismic wave propagation inunderground media, and the developed frequency attenuation is not able to fully applyto all exploration work area, which prompted geophysicists to continue the efforts. This article revolves around the time-frequency properties of reservoirdistribution characteristics, introduces several conventional time-frequency analysis.Time-frequency characterization map is a one-dimensional signal representing in atwo-dimensional time-frequency domain describing what changes over time.Time-frequency analysis has been widely used in the field of seismic data processing and interpretation, including the attenuation method, the direct hydrocarbon detection, and imaging of formation. Widespread use of short-time Fourier transform (STFT)creates a time-frequency spectrum which through data time-window doing Fouriertransform, but this method results in a shift in the time and frequency spectralresolution between. When after contrast and introduced several frequency analysis method, this paperapplied the crossover technology which is an important technic of the seismic dataprocessing and interpretation. The crossover technology is for the anomalies in theisochronous stratigraphic framework of control, conventional seismic data processedas the frequency slices, and identified the high frequency tuning corresponding energyof seismic reflections, in order to achieve the purpose of detecting the reservoir. I putsome of the technologies used in Jilin Oilfield, the reservoir that the study area ismainly constituted by two lobes are located in the northwest and southwest of thefield.85%and65%of the energy position corresponding to the frequency of seismicreflection wave energy and45Hz frequency energy percentage, the threetime-frequency property can determine the distribution of sandstone reservoir andfavorable degree of development distribution, and gives favorable wells, and thedrilling situation the same.
