Heilongjiang province Chalukou molybdenum polymetallic deposit is located in thenorth of Greater Khingan Range, is the North China’s largest molybdenum polymetallicdeposit, has proven reserves of molybdenum metal content of1120000tons. Porphyry depositcorrosion has typical characteristics, hydrothermal alteration and development. Themineralization age of late Jurassic, is the internal structure of Northeast Asia, are products ofmagmatic activation, formed in the continental extensional tectonic environment in the acidmagmatic activities provided power, heat and material sources of the ore forming,cryptoexplosive breccia belt into the ore fluid migration and mineralization accumulationprovides space conditions, and the eastern part of our country large-scale outbreak periodcorresponding molybdenum mineralization. Deposit is located in the north east of the hill1029volcano eruption center edge, early Cretaceous volcano eruption period, multi periodvolcano intrusive rocks formed volcano dome at its edge. A volcano dome structure mainbody acidic volcano rock, become the main ore bearing rock bodies, the deposit is controlledby the output position. The ore-forming materials are mainly from magmatic source of deepcrustal differentiation, caused by magma intrusion, few material from the shallow rocks.Around the main metallogenic rock development a wide range of hydrothermal alteration andmineralization zoning, alteration zoning, zoning. Pb Zn mineralization and molybdenummineralization was formed the same metallogenic mechanism of zoning enrichmentphenomenon. Petrochemical characteristics show that the area of magmatite, volcano rocksand subvolcanic rocks, the same type are homologous products, different period, the tectonicmagmatic inherited characteristics--is movable, deep magma chamber evolutiondifferentiation fully.Mesozoic volcano magmatic activities with volcano dome or volcano graben basin edge,a volcano rock polyphasic intrusion development, especially (hydrothermal cryptoexplosionbreccia) is a prerequisite for volcano hydrothermal vein type and porphyry type deposits.With soil Cu, Mo, Pb, Zn, Ag and other multi element composite anomalies and geophysicalprospecting, electrical, IP anomaly is consistent with the position, is the favorable area of orebody. Development of surface limonite gossan etc., is a direct mark of lead-zinc orebodies;large area development of iron manganese staining, Mo Hua is the Mo ore ore huntingindicator.
