A significant method for reducing debris flow hazard is debris flow monitoringand early warning. Two strong earthquakes,"512" Wenchuan earthquake and "420" Lushan earthquake, effect on Lengmugou together and caused very seriousdamage. As the exit position of Lengmugou is on Baoxing prosperous area, a seriousthreat to safety of life and property of the people of the county. The national and therelevant functional departments pay great concern and attention to Lengmugouprevention and treatment. Thus, it is necessary to, warning mudflow occurrence,reducing the hazards from the maximum extent. Monitoring and early warning workon Lengmugou debris flows. Totally, nothing can be more significant theoretical andpractical value than to carry on monitoring and early warning research based oncharacteristics of Lengmugou debris flow.(1) To clearly the characteristics of Lengmugou debris flow after combiningwith the investigation data of “5.12” and “4.20” earthquake for Lengmugou.(2) Study on role of material source in the earthquake response, clearly theimpact of the two earthquakes on material source, statistics derived sediments withinthe channel source totally more than60%, and by two earthquakes Comparativeanalysis of the obtained response causes provenance material source reservesincreased, and the role of the earthquake there is a certain mutual conversion betweendifferent types of material source, eventually grasp summed up its startup mode tostart the debris flow channel from the macro.(3) Based on the research of material source characteristic and start mode,determined methods of the monitoring equipment selection and principles ofdeployment. Meanwhile sum up experiences, play full roles of advantages of thesemonitoring instruments.(4) Combined with the characteristics of the Lengmugou debris flow, anddetermine the methods and means of monitoring warning in single mode andmulti-warning system. Including①critical rainfall warning indicators;②debrisflow mud depth level critical warning indicators;③Multi-warning monitoringcollaborative work processes.(5) In the single monitoring instrument warning method based onmulti-monitoring, and explore monocolpate collaborative early warning method. To establish the use of the the rainfall warning indicators mudslides occur warning; judgewhether the debris flow occurred on the basis of existing governance projects for thedebris flow trench debris flow further use of the mud bit of debris flow monitoringand early warning method of debris flow hazard warning; while the use of videomonitoring play a supporting role.
