Sulige gas field is a big low permeability gas field. It is located in Yihezhao Meng, theInner Mongolia Autonomous Region, whose regional structure is the North-west Yishan slope,structural morphology is the wide-slow west dip monocline and structures are flat, except nosestructure. Sulige gas field are east to the Tao Li temple, west to the Well Tan-1, north to theWell Yi-9and south to the An Bian, whose East-west width is100km, South-north length is196km and area is4x104km2. The upper Paleozoic He4, He6, He7, He8, Shan1, Shan2,Taiyuan, Benxi and the lower Paleozoic Mawu1+2, Mawu4and so on gas-bearing serieswere discovered until now. The upper Paleozoic He8and Shan1are the main gas-bearingseries, which are braided stream deposit-delta deposit.Sulige Gas Field has great potentials reserves volume. However, complex geologycondition, big lateral reservoir variation, serious reservoir inhomogeneity, low porosity, lowpermeability, small reservoir body size, poor effective reservoir lateral continuity, poorreservoir gas connectivity and small single gas well control reserves volume made the Suligegas field low productivity and low maintenance capability. The well Suping1real drillingresults shows He8single gas-bearing in the case of lateral away hundred meters or evendozens meters, whose reservoir physical property changes a lot and sand body becomes thin,even pinch. Common seismic exploration technology can not satisfy the low permeabilityreservoir prediction. At recent years, AVO analysis, Pre-stack simultaneous inversiontechnique and Pre-stack seismic description technology which representative are elasticimpedance and elastic parameters are gradually developing. So, using the above technologiesto extract more geology information including fluid and lithology becomes the key stage ofsuccess in low permeability gas reservoir exploration. This paper shows a combined multiplesubject and methods effective reservoir prediction flows, which is based on the Sulige gasfield prediction difficulties and geology characteristics and guided by the geology backgroundand well logging references. According to the study of seismic rock physics, this paper studiedthe reservoir elastic parameters characteristic, get the preferably the sensitive factor and thenmade the connection of the elastic parameters, reservoir characteristic and gas-bearing possibility. And then use the AVO model forward simulation to make the lithology, reservoir,gas-bearing and water-bearing model for guiding the pre-stack seismic attributes analysis andinversion. Based above all, use the main methods, including AVO analysis, seismic inversion,hydrocarbon detection and seismic attribute analysis to carry out reservoir prediction andgas-bearing prediction, which provides technical basis for the reservoir exploration and welllocation evaluation.
