On account of the complex remaining oil distribution and difficultly in tapping potential of Saertu Reservoir of Honggang Oilfield, this paper exerting the theories of sedimentology and high resolutionsequence stratigraphy etc, and according to the results of analysis of lots of core samples and logging data, and combine with logging facies, study sedimentology facies of Saertu oil layer of Honggang Oilfield in Songliao Basin. The result shows that the sedimentary source in this area comes from Yingtai river system in northwest and Baicheng river system in southwest, whose sedimentary environment is braided river delta system, which is composed of braided stream delta front and predelta. The sedimentary areas of the braided stream delta front are divided into such four types:subaqueous distributary channel; river mouth bar; distant sand bar and sheet sand, amount to21kinds of microfacies. The subaqueous distributary channel and main river mouth bar are the better sedimentary microfacies, the distant sand bar and sheet sand sedimentary areas are the weaker sedimentary microfacies. On the basis of stratigraphic classification and correlation and sedimentary microfacies, study the sedimentary system and single layer sedimentary microfacies model in this area. Concluding five types of sedimentary microfacies model:braided stream delta front branch shape subaqueous distributary channel sedimentary microfacies model, braided stream delta front subaqueous distributary channel+sheet sand bar sedimentary microfacies model, braided stream delta front river mouth bar sedimentary microfacies model, braided stream delta front distant sand bar sedimentary microfacies model, braided stream delta front sheet sand sedimentary microfacies model. According to the single layer sedimentary microfacies model, the remaining oil distribution can be predicted precisely, which provides reliable evidence to tap potential.
