Mechanics of detonation is a complex science, there are complicated physics and chemistry changes during the blasting process. Scientists study it through three ways:theory, experiment and numerical simulation. As a normal blasting phenomenon, underwater explosion study becomes more and more important with the advancement of marine strategy. Underwater explosion has three stages:explosive detonation, shock waves formation and propagation, bubbles formation and pulsation. Existing research literatures about underwater explosion study more on blasting far-field shock wave propagation, bubble formation and propagation law, while study less on blasting near-field, as explosion products here have characteristics of high temperature and high pressure, parameters here haven’t been tested effectively, and as a result the numerical simulation of blasting near-field haven’t been solved exactly.Based on developed pressure-conduction probe, the paper testes detonation wave and underwater oblique shock wave of two-dimensional column symmetric explosive loaded. According to related theory, the paper analyses the test data, and thus the paper has solved2D underwater explosion near-field test problem and calculated related parameters.The developed new pressure-conduction probe is structural integrity, thus can resistant to external electromagnetic interference and other clutters, eliminate the air blast "pipe effect" to ensure the objectivity of the test. At the same time, the probe is waterproof, resistant of oil and high temperature, can be used in various test environment. The probe is a rod, which can be put in the explosive or explosive column directly, tests the detonation velocity or shock wave velocity continuously and easily.The paper tests two explosives:powdered ANFO and powdered RDX. Test environment is underwater, test target is the distance-time curve of detonation wave and underwater oblique shock wave in2D column explosive loaded. Processing the test curve, the paper gets the detonation velocity, underwater oblique shock wave propagation, then combining related theory and the paper gets important indexes:detonation products polytropic gas index, mach number, corner of the air-water interface, pressure of the air-water interface etc. So the paper uses experimental method to get exact parameters of state equation. There are four chapters in the paper, chapter1introduces how to test detonation velocity and pressure, and the development of underwater explosion. Chapter2states related theory of detonation wave and shock wave. Chapter3introduces test system and the core element in the test:pressure-conduction probe, its development and performance test. Chapter4introduces the test, with the pressure-conduction test system, the paper tests the detonation velocity and underwater oblique shock wave velocity of powdered ANFO and powdered RDX, processes test data with related theory and gets parameters, thus solves the underwater explosion problem. The paper offers an effective experimental way in underwater explosion study.
