MicroRNA (miRNA) are small endogenous non-coding RNA (noncoding RNA) by alength of about20nucleotides, which can be the stability of the process of translation ofmRNA in the presence of interference and affect the gene expression. Traditionally, it isimpossible that plant miRNA can through the gastrointestinal digestion process intoanimal’s circulatory.However, in recent years,with the advances in technology, some papers have beenpublished about these exogenous RNAs could be transmitted by cross-species ingestion. Inparticular, some researches have revealed a new discovery: plant miRNA can effectivelyavoid damage to the digestive and other unfavorable factors and the steady intake of thosewho exist within the circulatory system and organs. Some plant miRNA may exist inanimals, as animals miRNA which can involved in physiological functions. Exogenousplant miRNA can regulate physiological processes, affecting its physical condition, byintake. So, plant exogenous miRNA wheter is randomly collected into animals or have aspecial choice? What is the intrinsic link with themselves? What is miRNA sequencesimilarity between endogenous and the exogenous?To address the question of what this phenomenon could be like, and based onsummarizing the former validated experimental results, in this thesis which used thecomputational methods to explore this new phenomenon. For the reason of lacking relatingexperiment data,there exists many difficulties in this research, including where the miRNAdata come from,how to compara the miRNA data between deffierent spaces,how to processthe sellected data, How to analyze the results of the data,etc.In view of the above problems, this topic process the exogenous miRNA sequence datawhich come from previous experiment by analyzing of sequence conservation andnucleotide content. We hope that obtain the existence and regulation that exogenous plantmiRNA could specifically exists in the human. Meanwhile, this topic comparative betweenthe endogenous and the exogenous miRNA sequences data. Through the above experimentalprocedure, we draw the following conclusions:the plant exogenous miRNA can exist withinthe human body is not a random phenomenon, and there is a certain tendency selectivity;miRNA sequence similarity between human endogenous miRNA and the plant exogenous miRNA is poor which means the regulate method maybe different from the humanendogenous miRNA.Though this topic still needs to be validated by biological experiment methods, ourresearch provides a new possible methods on the research of plant exogenous miRNAcross-species regulatory mechanism.
