Coal seam structure of Hancheng area is damage serious and the coalstructure is very complicated. The research of coal structure distribution in theHancheng area is not enough at present, which cannot meet the requirement ofthe coal bed methane selection and development of the evaluation work.In this paper, based on the comparative analysis of well logging data andcore samples in study area. Using coal ash content with logging gamma curvelocate the core of Hancheng Area. And application the trend surface analysis inthe logging data normalization. And studied the different logging responsecharacteristics of coal body structure. The results show tectonic coal loggingresponse of compensation density is small, compensated sonic characteristicssuch as big, large diameter wells, which are differences with the originalstructure of coal in study area. Through compensated sonic, compensateddensity, caliper, effective combination of these three logging curve can reflectand enlarging the characteristics of qualitative. Also the results show theexistence of tectonic coal certainly lead to reduced micro-spherical aggregatesresistivity value, and using the deep lateral resistivity and the combination ofmicro-spherical focused aggregates resistivity. Using RLLD/RMSFLcan betteridentify coal body structure To reduce the error of the method of single, in thispaper, using the cross plot technique of the coal structure index N andRLLD/RMSFLquantitative identification the coal body structure, can classifyaccurately. Set up Nos.5and11coal seam quantitative general method in thestudy area.Application results show that using the method of coal body structure is basically consistent with the result of coal core, this paper is verifiedusing coal structure index N and RLLD/RMSFLdivide coal body structure isfeasibility.Through110CBM well log data analysis in study area, disclosed No.5and11Coal body structure distribution and its influencing factors.
