The bactera of the genus Micromonospora belong to rare actinomycetes, which produced wide varieties and diverse structure types of antibiotics. In recent years, the number of new antibiotics that have been found from the genus Micromonospora is becoming closing to Streptomyces.In this paper, we choose the Micromonospora species that isolated from Chenghai Lake as research materials. By some experimental means, we choose one strain Micromonospora as target strain for second metabolites study at last. The experiment content:the chemical screening of Micromonospora; the fermentation time of the target strain; the fermentation of the target strain; the purification and structure analysis of monomer compound.First, we investigated the metabolite patterns of the94strains by their liqui d fermentation preparation (per3bottles) as the preliminary screening materials. Then,7stains with abundant metabolites were choosed to resreen based on the TLC pattern. Second, with the7strains liquid fermentation (per10L) ppreparatio n as the re-screening materials, the information of TLC patterns were investigate d after the ordinary phase silica, gel chromatography and the HPLC analysis whi ch could provide a scientific, intuitive overview of the metabolite diversitiy and polar distribution. In the end the C4680was selected as the enlarge fermentation strain based on the TLC and HPLC analysis data. Third, we obtain the ferment ation extract of C4680strain after enlarge fermentation and processing. In the en d, the structure of10compounds from C4680were identified, in which included:1-(3-Deoxy-β-L-erythro-pentofuranosyl)-uracil,1-(3-Deoxy-β-L-erythro-pentofur-ano syl)-5-methyluracil, Trichothecolone, cyclo(L-Val-L-Ile),4-hydroxybenzoic acid,4-hydroxybenzaldehyde,6α-Hydroxytrichodermol,6a-Hydroxyscirpene, Trichodermol,8-dihydrotrichothecinol A.This work lays a solid foundation for the further research of Micromonospor-a secondary metabolites from the similar environment.
