In this study, we used Adina pilulifera and A.rubella as material, which produced in Zhejiang Province, to explore the planting and cutting propagation technology and stress resistance about low temperature, drought and shading. The conclusions as followed:(1) the treatment of the concentration of GA3 was 300 mg/l, soaking time was 60 min, culture temperature was 15~20℃ was the best treatment for A.rubella seed germination, the germination rate was 75.56%; the treatment of the concentration of GA3 was 300 mg/l, soaking time was 60 min, culture temperature was 20~25℃ was the best treatment for A. pilulifera seed germination, germination rate was 55.34%. Matrix for peat:sand = 1:1, the concentration of ABT was 50 mg/l, soaking time was 60 min, the survival rate of A.rubella cuttings up to 96%; matrix for peat: sand = 1: 1, the concentration of ABT was 200 mg/l, soaking time was30 min, the survival rate of A. pilulifera cutting up to 32%.(2) With the continued strengthening of low temperature stress, the relative conductivity, content of soluble sugar, soluble protein and MDA of A.rubella in Linan and A. pilulifera which from Jiande, Suichang and Cangnan showed a rising trend in general. The SOD enzyme activity rose firstly and went down then. Semi Lethal temperature were: Cangnan-2.23℃, Suichang-2.4℃, Jiande-3.49℃; A.rubella is-3.88℃. Its cold hardiness order: A. Rubella(Linan)> Jiande > Suichang > Cangnan.(3) In condition of drought, the soil moisture content and leaf water content of A. pilulifera and A. rubella declined constantly. But the relative conductivity, soluble sugar, MDA and free proline contents rose constantly. The soluble protein content showed a trend of increasing firstly and then decreasing. The drought resistance of A. pilulifera is greater than A. rubella.(4) The biennial plants of A. pilulifera and A. rubella were shading, the control was full illumination. The determination of two plants full illumination light response curve, obtained its light compensation point were 13.89μmol/m2·s and 10.71μmol/m2·s; as the shading degree increased, soluble sugar content of the two plant showed a rising trend, but the MDA and free proline contents showed a decreasing trend. The shade-resistance of A. pilulifera is better than A. rubella.To sum up, test improved the artificial propagation method of A. pilulifera and A. rubella. The conclusion is that A. rubella has a strong cold resistance, and the drought resistance and shadow resistance of A. pilulifera is better. The results provide a theoretical basis for river greenization.
