Marine monitoring is a fundamental step in exploring of the ocean.The most important tool of marine monitoring is marine buoys. Marine water monitoring is the basis of the marine monitoring. This article applies the wireless sensor network technology in the marine water environment monitoring to real-time collection information within the region of marine buoy and transmit it to the control room.And then monitor ocean currents float trajectories.Firstly, the thesis designs hardware chart of buoy node.The hardware components of wireless sensor nodes of the thesis are include MCU, the AT86RF212 wireless module, GPS module, GPRS module and power module. These modules has been use to design circuit of buoy node. The sensor node within the region can achieve data acquisition and short-distance data transmission and aggregation nodes can achieve regional communication with the momtoring center.Secondly, the routing algorithm and protocol are been analysis and improvement in the thesis. In Marine Water Currents Monitoring System Based on Wireless Sensor Network, the network technology of monitoring area is ZigBee technology. But the algorithm of ZigBee routing protocol prone to "hot spots" effect and Result in data collisions and lost. Because of the special marine monitoring systems, energy consumption of nodes and node loss are two major problems. In order to solve the above problem, the system select an existing wireless sensor network routing protocol LEACH and LEACH routing protocol simulation analysis.In the last of the thesis, through the existing low-power LEACH clustering routing algorithm simulation analysis and combined with EEPB chain algorithm improvement of routing protocol is a kind of routing protocol for system application. This routing protocol avoids "hot spots" effect. And it has the advantage of the LEACH routing protocol and EEPB routing protocol. The node can be in the form of multiple jumping of data transmission and solve the problem that the node is lost. Through the comparison of the three protocols, the improvement of routing protocol can prolong network life and reduce consumption of energy.
