Seismis one of huge natural disasters, whose sudden and randomness always let people have no time to consider and make people’s mental and physical suffer great pain.In many natural disasters, especially in terms of casualties, the death toll from the earthquake accounted for all kinds of natural disasters is more than half of the total number of deaths.There is also space relationship with its surrounding regions for earthquakes,besides the respective tectonic.Classical statistical analysis can only solve the problem that sample data is independent, is not suitable for the data which is dependent on each other in space, because it can’t obtain space relationship of the data.And spatial statistics solve the problem, has brought the new opportunity for the research of spatial data.In this paper, it is based on spatial statistical analysis of the characteristics to research earthquake’s space-time characteristics of the transmission from the perspective of spatial statistics.This article selects seismic catalogue data of Chinese Mainland.The integrity analysis of earthquake data was carried out to obtain appropriate magnitude. Then we do systematic and in-depth research for the seismic propagation characteristics of space and time.First we describe briefly the situation of the study area and the source of the seismic data.The data is divided into nine periods for five years as a window.The spatial autocorrelation analysis of the frequency of the earthquake of areas in Chinese Mainland was made.Research results showed that there were significant positive spatial correlations in the overall situation between areas in Chinese Mainland. And the positive spatial correlation between areas became more and more significant and strong as time went on.Moran scatter plot and LISA agglomeration figure show thatthe seismic frequency of Tibet and Xinjiang formed the larger communities of the high value.North China has high value during 75-79,but soon returned to calm.Then further analyzes the multifractal characteristics of China Mainland earthquake from the perspective of earthquakes energy. According to the time series of earthquake release to make the multifractal spectrum curve,from which the differences of the multifractal characteristics of the five regions can be concluded in time. We use different resolution make the regional earthquake point discretization and calculated seismic energy after the discretization.Two-dimensional field is used input.Multifractal properties of earthquakes are obtained in space.We use k means clusteringto illustrateexistence of the seismic propagation characteristics differences in space and time.Finally it is concluded that seismic time-space propagation characteristics have a close relationship with different geodynamic environment.Research of this paper can be directly in China of the earthquake by the earthquake catalogue data research provides the theoretical basis, further deepen knowledge and understanding of the seismic space-time distribution characteristics, and provide the basis for seismic prediction.
