With the extensive application of GPS in military and society, the anti-jamming performance of Global Positioning System(GPS) receivers that is attracting more attention, has become a hot issue in research of navigation technology. However, current study aims at the anti-jamming performance of GPS receivers in normal tracking, which rarely involves the anti-jamming ability in acquisition. Moreover, the analysis method adopted is analysis based on BER using the theory of spread spectrum communication anti-jamming performance analysis. The difference between GPS and conventional spread spectrum communication and key design parameters that affect the anti-jamming ability are never or rarely considered.Considering the characteristics of GPS, the thesis is devoted to a thorough research on anti-jamming performance of GPS receivers. On the basis of anti-jamming performance analysis of GPS receivers in acquisition, the method of anti-jamming performance research in acquisition by analyzing the correlation of spread spectrum codes and jamming signals is proposed. When referring to anti-jamming performance analysis in tracking, the features of GPS that are different from conventional direct sequence spectrum systems are discussed. Then, this thesis proposes a method of anti-jamming performance analysis based on carrier tracking fibrillation threshold, anti-jamming threshold carrier to noise ratio and anti-jamming threshold jamming to signal ratio. The principles and derivation of the method are discussed in detail. The method considers and precisely computes the influences of the factors of jamming signal mode, satellite navigation signal system, receiver post detection integration time, carrier loop bandwidth. The results of anti-jamming performance testing of entity GPS receivers validate correctness of the proposed method.
