Discovered by the Gold Branch of the Chinese Armed Police Force, Qingshuiquan copper-gold deposit is located in the west of Kalamaili metallogenic belt and has great exploration potential. The orebodies are hosted in sub-volcanic rocks and the ores mainly display small-vein and net-vein structures. Fluid inclusion research indicates that ore-forming fluid is characterized by low-and-medium temperature, salinity, density and pressure, implying ore-forming materials of the deposit may derive from the deep magma. The resemblances of REEs and trace elements indicate the close genetic relationship between ores and host rocks. Based on the features mentioned above and analysis of strata-structure-magma, it is inferred that the early stage volcanic activities provided the initial ore-forming materials for the Qingshuiquan copper-gold deposit. The late stage dykes made the copper-gold mineralization enrichments by re-providing materials and heat.
