Junggar Basin is an superimposed basin which experienced multiple tectonic movements.And its complicated geodynamic environment determines the Junggar Basin has a special structure background,accumulation controlling factors and accumulation mechanism.Currently, oil and gas resources found in the Junggar Basin: oil accounted for 30%,gas accounted for 8%; Proved rate:oil is 20.74%, gas is 3.5%. From the above data shows that the development of oil and gas at a low level throughout the basin, fully demonstrated the Junggar basin also has great exploration prospects. After the third time the whole basin resource evaluation, increasing in oil and gas resources in the basin mainly is Permian strata, followed by Jurassic and Triassic is decreasing.Furthermore, Jimusaer sag as an oil-producing block in the east of Jungga r Basin,because its multiple tectonic movements has formed dustpan-like sag w hich is fault in the west and overlap in the east,and hasowened all thegeologic al formation of the elements to form the reservoir(source rocks、reservoir stratu m、capping formation、lap seam)and affect(trap forming、oil and gas forming、migration、accumulation),making the exploration in Permian strata of Jimusaer s ag has increasingfavor.This paper mainly achieved the following outcomes:(1)According to the division basises of structural characteristics of seismic reflection、interface unconformity relations、core logging and cuttings、log styles and mutation changes,dividing the Wutonggou formation into first section and second section.Based on it,we can divide the Wutonggou formation from top to buttom into five sand groups firstly.(2)The formers have different opinions to the sedimentary facies of the research area.For the disputes, in this paper, according to the theoretical concepts of fan delta and braided river delta as the basis,the delta characteristics the five single factors which including depositional environment and hydrodynamic characteristics、sedimentary structure and tectonic、seismic reflection、sand body shape as the arguments, fully demonstrated in the study area are widely braided river delta.(3)Through research varieties of structural features、fluid conduit systems、hydrodynamic environment in the research area, developed tectonic- lithologic reservoir in the study area as the main types of complex reservoirs, followed by the lithologic reservoirs.(4)Through study the tectonic settings,depositional system and source storage configuration relations in time and space,summarized the control factors of Wutonggou formation,and identified the Ji No7 well area、 Ji No19 well area、 Ji No17 well area as mainly reservoirs; JN well area as the subordinate reservoirs.(5)Through predicting and recognizing of Wutonggou formation,determining the favorable areas.
